Monument of Exile
Bronze sculpture that pays tribute to the exiles. It is the only monument dedicated to the exile to France. It represents a man and his 6-year-old daughter who lost a leg in the bombings of Franco's troops in Montsó in November 1937. They were heading towards Prats de Molló, which they reached after an odyssey lived with thousands of exiles. Their terrible journey was immortalized by the photo of a foreign journalist and became the symbol of exile and the origin of the Vajol monument.
